After missing several penalty corners, Abhishek Nain scored in the second quarter to level the match for India, and shortly thereafter, Nilakanta Sharma netted a brilliant field goal to put India in the lead at 2-1. India extended their lead with a goal from Sukhjeet Singh in the third quarter, while Pakistan tried to stay in the contest through goals from Shakeel Moin and Abu Mahmood. India defeated Pakistan 4-3, courtesy of a decisive goal by Rajinder Singh in the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">India had defeated the reigning Olympic and Pro League champions, the Netherlands, as well as the world number one team, Germany, during last week&#8217;s Rotterdam leg,which boosted the team&#8217;s confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the London leg, India will face England on Thursday and then clash with Pakistan again on June 26. The tour will conclude with a second match against England on June 28.
